Congratulations Class of 2021!

We are truly very pleased and happy at your progress in primary school, and on behalf of all the staff of Tallaght CNS, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Our Diverse School

Our students have been busy creating a ‘Multicultural’ display to celebrate the diverse cultures we have in our school community. As part of the new school ethos, our students have been learning quite a lot about respecting each other’s differences. We strive as a school to bring even more awareness to the diversity and connection we all share in Tallaght CNS. Our students understand and appreciate various cultures, as well as their own, highlighting both differences and common interests.

On 22nd April all of our students at Tallaght CNS came together and created a collaborative art piece for Earth Day. Earth Day is a day that was created to show appreciation and promote awareness for the earth’s environment. This art-piece features a handprint made by each student in our school to represent the inclusive school community we work within. Each class engaged in lessons on the topic of Earth Day to prepare the students to be active stewards of the environment.

“Ní neart go cur le chéile”

There is no strength without unity

On 10th December all the students at Tallaght CNS took part in a 5k Rudolf Run in aid of the Down Syndrome Centre. Junior and Senior Infants completed their run on the school grounds and 1st – 6th class completed their run in the park across the road from the school. The students wore their best Christmas outfit / jumper and some students even got a prize for the best dressed! The students raised a total of €255.32. This was a fantastic event that all the students enjoyed and it was great to see the smiles on their faces throughout the event. Happy Christmas everyone and best wishes for the new year!
